I was so happy to be able to volunteer this morning at Bea Gaddy’s, an organization that provides food for needy and homeless families in Baltimore, MD. I had to get up really early this morning but it was all worth it in the end seeing the many other volunteers and community members helping to make someone’s Thanksgiving special.

Had an amazing weekend selecting the 2016 Miss American Coed Princess, Sweetheart, and Preteen with this awesome group of judges! Congrats to all the outstanding new queens!!

I was absolutely smitten with the newly crowned Miss American Princess 2016, Bailey! Have a great year, cutie! (Wish I had been able to get photos with the other fantastic new titleholders!)

Ms. Maryland American Dream 2016, facilitating a workshop on “Living On Purpose” at My Sister’s Place, a homeless shelter for women in downtown Baltimore, MD. The workshop was about finding meaning and purpose for your life. Specifically, we talked about our core strengths, beliefs and values and how that plays a role in our divine purpose. One exercise she did with the women was to have them look at themselves in the mirror to identify their own self-image. It was a powerful exercise to make them aware of how they see themselves which tends to predict the success you have in life. The women seemed pleased with the workshop and she has been invited back to conduct other workshops similar to this one.

Spent the morning of November 7th at Volusia Mall's PJ Party welcoming Santa! So fun to chat with the excited kids about what they want to ask Santa for Christmas, watch all of the fantastic dances from Kinetic Expressions Dance Academy, and seeing the area's up and coming boy band NK5 perform - all in my pajamas! Feeling jolly!

2015 Greater Baltimore Walk to End Alzheimer's held at the Baltimore Inner Harbor, Rash Field.  I was so happy to be there to support this worthy cause.  I was especially grateful when i had a few people come up to me to thank me for all that I do in the community including making an appearance at this event.  It makes my work in the community well worth it!

Our focus for the past year has been on rebuilding the pageant and making it everything we knew it could be.  Now that we have a national pageant under our belts, it's time to get back on here and let you know what's happening behind the scenes at American Dream Pageant.  Stay tuned, because this is where we will be updating weekly on what is happening with our national queens, in the offices, and beyond.  Welcome back Readers!
